Committing yourself to God is no small decision. It is a life-long pledge of loyalty to a new Master. It is doing the opposite of what Adam and Eve did in the beginning --they rebelled and decided to do things their own way. Today, God wants us to surrender to Him, and begin to do things His way. He has promised to help us, give us strength, power, understanding, and guidance as we read the Bible and apply it to our lives. God can give you a new beginning. He can transform you into a completely new person, who is no longer bound by the destructive cycle of "Lust, Sin, and Death." God can give you purpose in life, a mission to live for, and assurance of eternal life in heaven. All of this begins when you make a choice. You have to admit you've been tripping, just like the devil. You have to turn away from that lifestyle, and commit to follow the teachings of Jesus. And finally, you have to put your faith in what Jesus did to "save" you from evil. |
